Food was incredible, I had a Cuban sandwich and it was a reasonably large portion and tasted incredible. All the food was great, including the appetizers. And the waitress was super friendly and the service was great, as was the ambience. Will definitely go back!
It's always a hit when I come here. Staff is extremely friendly. I come here so often that they already know me. Would HIGHLY recommend trying the Cubans sandwich it's amazing. Very authentic Cuban food
This is not your typical fancy restaurant in Austin. Instead, it is a casual, nicely decorated restaurant in an older shopping center near Lamar and Rundberg. We loved the atmosphere and, of course, the food. The prices were also good, which is a plus. I highly recommend trying out this Cuban restaurant. We had the Cuban sandwich and ropa vieja.
The other day, I had a huge craving for ropa vieja. So I googled Cuban food and this place came up. We came in and we were basically the only people dining in. The bartender/server greeted us and sat us immediately. She was super kind. Most of the food was incredible. The con gris could have used a bit more salt as the flavor was a little bland. But aside from that? We truly enjoyed ourselves in this literal hole in the wall joint.
Can't beat the food, and at a great price. Had super service, some tremendous price. Had the Ropa Vieja and a few other things and loved it. Plantains were super.
The food and service absolutely amazing. It was my first time and did not know what to expect but everything was fresh flavorful and waitress was very attentive. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable.
So amazing, ordered pick up for the entire family. My one year old approves! Packaged very thoughtfully and everything was delicious! Easily the best Cuban food in Austin, we got a variety of apps, sandwiches and entrees.
